Sitting Room

 The second home we had the pleasure to collaborate with this family. Incorporationg furniture and art from their first home, we were tasked with adding to their soft contemporay style with furniture, lighting, rugs, art and accessories. This is a project that will continue to evolve as we resource the perfect additions that compliment their lifestyle and enjoyment of entertaining friends and family.

Benders Landing Custom Home

We began working with these clients in the build stage finalizing exterior hard surfaces and all interior finishes. These clients wanted new furniture, window treatments and art work that was transitional to coordinate with a few of their existing pieces. This home is built for entertaining both inside and out with plenty of room for guests including an in-law suite.

Teaswood

Just completed new construction for client that has plenty of room for family gatherings and entertainment.

Grogans Mill Remodel

These empty nesters found a one story golf course home that required a full remodel by removing walls to open up and give the home the updated sophistication the new owners desired.

These empty nesters wanted a refreshing update for their existing home. The focus was on the entry, study, powder, great room, formal dining and primary bedroom/bath. Update included furniture to elevate some existing they wanted to keep , lighting, rugs and artwork.  Before and after photos highlight the spohisticated style the clients were looking for.

Beach house dining, bar, and master wing addition to accommodate growing family. The client wanted to incorporate updated coastal vibe that coordinated with existing home. The addition was designed, drawn and contracted by IDC for the client.

After looking at new construction previous client opted to update their existing family home starting with the Kitchen, Family and first floor bathrooms. The year long process during the pandemic was challenging but the result better suits the clients soft contemporary style. 

Harper Meadow at Cross Creek Ranch

Transitional Custom Built home for a client that recently retired and wanted a fresh new look. We incorporated new soft contemporary pieces into a transitional setting that were both welcoming and comfortable for everyday living and entertaining with family and friends.

Client Retirement Home in South Texas

New custom built home for clients that were retiring to their childhood hometown.  Working with the architect and builder to make plan adjustments that fit the homeowner’s budget and lifestyle this home is functional for today and future aging in place.  The clients love for Craftsman design is evident from the front elevation and front door as well as throughout the home.  Stained glass windows from clients own collection retrofitted into a custom barn door in the study to custom cabinetry built with Craftsman style in mind, the client’s home is ready for the move-in of their Craftsman period furnishings.  This lovely country home is comfortable and suited for both indoor and outdoor family gatherings.

Retirement Home in South Texas

The Woodlands ADA Addition

With more clients choosing to "age in place" this Woodlands home required a new addition to the existing master bath suite. It was essential for this client to meet VA/ADA requirements without looking institutional.  Highly functional this 
Spa inspired master bath with a contemporary vibe is meant to create a calm atmosphere suitable in any modern home.  Two additional secondary baths were also updated in the home that included  curated furniture style vanities,  carrara and concrete porcelain tiles with linear decoratives, barn door style shower doors and engineered stone countertops.

Houston clients purchased second home in Austin near Zilker Park.

Oak Ridge Remodel

Client's family home of 30+ years needed a refreshing update. Replacing dark wood paneling, adding a light warm neutral paint for walls and engineered flooring  through out home. Client requested new dining, formal living and entry furnishings.  Updating lighting, rugs and art work made this client ready to once again entertain family and friends.

Client purchased a second home near Lake Travis and The Oasis. The single story Hill Country home required little updating, simply a fresh coat of paint and new light fixtures. Furniture and window treatments completed the look that reflected this clients lifestyle.

Lake Conroe Remodel

Lake house remodel with a gentleman's touch. Client was downsizing primary home and incorporating those pieces warehoused to the lake while editing outdated existing.  All baths and master closet were gutted for remodel and master bedroom updated. 

Residential Design for Mortgage Company

We have completed several homes for this client so when they wanted to build their office workspace from the ground up they enlisted IDC to work on their project.  It was important to our client that the building look like the Austin homes they admired. We worked closely with Gary Keith Jackson Designs on overall design and space planning. Exterior architecture is a nod to Austin hill country contemporary with soft contemporary residential interior finishes, furniture and accessories.

Updated Mediterranean Style Home on Lake Houston. Entire first floor of this home was remodeled as a result of Hurricane Harvey with current popular gray tones in finishes and furnishings.
